I just don't know where to start. Let's begin here:

Eastern Mediterranean Heat Wave

The Eastern Mediterranean (Palestine, Israel, Jordan) has suffered from record-breaking “Hellish” temperatures this summer. Sedom, Israel on the Dead Sea experienced a record *OVERNIGHT LOW* of 97°F on August 12.

The heat wave increases the suffering of Palestinians living out in the open in Gaza under Made-in-USA bombs dropped by Israel.

What Were They Thinking?

Meanwhile, ICE arrests two fire-fighters as they strived to help contain an out-of-control wildfire on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.

20 Years of Deadly Extreme Weather in the United States

In the past 20 years, the United States has experienced its deadliest hurricane in 77 years, deadliest tornado in 64 years, and deadliest wildfire in 100 years. In 2025, the US also experienced its deadliest flash flood in 49 years. Makes you wonder what's next.

Extreme Weather Everywhere

Much of the world has experienced extreme weather this summer. Of particular note are the worst floods that Punjab Province in Pakistan have ever experienced. The recent flooding has affected millions and killed at least 850 in Punjab.

United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) Provides Humanitarian Aid in Gaza

UNRWA continues to work in Gaza despite being targeted by Israel, with at least 310 UNRWA aid workers murdered in Gaza. While the US government has suspended contributions to UNRWA, over 160,000 Estadounidenses have stepped up to the plate, contributing over $68 million via UNRWA-USA.

UNRWA employs around 13,000 aid workers in Gaza.

Watch this Chris Hedges interview with Mara Kronenfeld, Executive Director of UNRWA-USA.

The Betrayal of Palestine

And watch this 45-minute Chris Hedges interview of Harvard-educated Islamic Scholar, Dr. Farah El-Sharif, discussing how the world, and in particular, Islamic-majority nations, continue to throw Palestinians under the bus.

Genocide does not play well in Poland

Israeli singer David D'Or was doused with red paint while on stage in Warsaw, Poland.

Starving Children Does Not Play Well in the United States

A Quinnipiac poll released on August 27 finds that 60% of voters (75% of Democrats) oppose military aid to Israel, with slightly more voters sympathizing with Palestine than with Israel for the first time.

Thousands Demonstrate in Israel

And in Israel, thousands demonstrate to end the war, stop the genocide and bring the hostages home.

Our “Peace” President

Before the election, Donald Trump presented himself as the “Peace” candidate and promised to end the Russo-Ukrainian War on Day One of his second term. Not only do the wars in Gaza and Ukraine continue over six months after his inauguration; but he's started some new ones, himself, in Iran, Los Angeles and Washington DC, with Chicago and Venezuela likely to be next in line. The aphorism that War always comes home appears to be holding.
