          ==================

1. THURSDAY NOON VIGIL FOR PEACE

Our weekly noon vigils are on Thursdays. We vigil for peace in front of the Rolla Post Office THIS THURSDAY, December 31, (and all subsequent Thursdays until peace is established) from Noon to 1:00 PM. Please try to join us. The temperature is predicted to be in the low to mid 30s under mostly cloudy skies. If you do not feel comfortable standing with us in front of the Post Office, please consider driving by and showing your support for our message by honking your horn and flashing a peace sign.

2. WASTED AND EXHAUSTED

Here are two short articles on the state of the most powerful, most expensive military the world has ever known: (click here and here).

3. RALPH NADER'S READING LIST

Check out this reading list from the man we should have elected president, (click here). BTW: I don't believe in the title of his latest book, "Only the Super-Rich Can Save Us"; but then I don't believe in Santa Claus either. I believe only WE can save OURSELVES; but whether we will is another matter entirely.

4. 2010: ANOTHER WASTED YEAR?

Tom Englehardt predicts 2010 will be, like 2009, another wasted year. I'm not so sure. I think it could be a lot worse.
