          ==================

1. THURSDAY NOON VIGIL FOR PEACE

Our weekly noon vigils are on Thursdays. We vigil for peace in front of the Rolla Post Office THIS THURSDAY, September 17, (and all subsequent Thursdays until peace is established) from Noon to 1:00 PM. Please try to join us. The temperature is predicted to be in the mid 70s under partly cloudy skies. If you do not feel comfortable standing with us in front of the Post Office, please consider driving by and showing your support for our message by honking your horn and flashing a peace sign.

2. IRAQI HERO FREED FROM PRISON

Muntadar al-Zaidi, who gained notoriety and hero status by throwing his shoes at George W. Bush, has been released from prison after suffering nine months of torture and ill treatment by Iraq's puppet government, (click here). Al-Zaidi remarks, "I am Free Again, but My Homeland Is Still a Prison."
