Bill Hickle has served eight terms as Municipal Judge. It is time for him to move up to Phelps County Associate Circuit Judge.
Bill is a quiet, thoughtful person. His goal is, "to provide prompt, fair, and impartial justice to every person" who appears before him," and to administer "evenhanded justice under the law." This is the kind of judge we need. I wish every judge would feel this way.
By constrast, his opponent, John Wiggins, as a past member of the Rolla Board of Public Works, has participated in the persecution of Donna Hawley by that Board and other City officials. I have posted numerous writings about the Donna Hawley case on this website. The persecution of Donna Hawley is a Civil Rights issue. Those who participate are unfit for public service, particularly as judges.
Let's elect Bill Hickle as our judge.
